North Simcoe Soccer Club 2020 Season Cancelled

by North Simcoe Soccer Club, 2020-04-09T09:47:07.000-07:00April 09 2020, at 09:47 AM PDT

With the uncertainty of the current Emergency Measures Act and the importance of physical distancing, the North Simcoe Soccer Club Executive has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 House League Spring Soccer Season, set to begin May 4th.

All registrations submitted will be issued a full refund, with no administrative penalty. Refunds should be processed prior to April 31, 2020. Any registrations submitted via cash or cheque will be delivered to the residential address that was provided on the registration form.

Our Soccer Club is monitoring the situation and our Rep teams remain in limbo.

We are all affected by the current situation and hope you all stay safe. We look forward to the 2021 soccer season.

Sincerely, your

North Simcoe Soccer Executive *

Hello,
Just a reminder, the last night of soccer is Monday June 25.
We'll be handing out medals and thanks that night.
Hope to see you there.

Please consider volunteering your time next year as a coach, it's been really good having two (or so) coaches per team this year.
Also, please think about being a convenor and helping to organize the leagues for next year.
Contact myself or Lee Jeannotte at lee.ajj22@gmail.com if you might be interested in getting involved.

Cheers!
Chris

Hello,
Please remember, tonight is picture night.
I've fixed the emails that were called to my attention last week.
If you are not getting messages, please see me tonight and give me your email address again.
Note, there have been some new players added and each team now has 12 or 13 players.

See you tonight

Hello,
I'm sorry but the field will not be ready for use this week.
We are now planning to start on Monday May 7, let's hope the fields will be ready.

Start time is 5:55, games go till 6:55.
For those who are not sure, the field is at Ed Walker Soccer Field behind Lot 102 on King Street in Midland.
That's across the street from Tim Hortons.
Team Photos are to be taken the night of Monday May 14, if it's raining photos will be moved to Monday May 21st.

Shin pads are not mandatory but players will likely appreciate wearing them.
Getting kicked in the shin hurts, especially if the player wears cleats.

Hello Coaches,
There's an optional half hour coaching clinic being held at the Bayview Elementary School on Wednesday at 7:45.
If you are able to attend, please go around the back of the school (only door that will be open).

Thanks
